Andy Irwin Online showcases the work of Andy Irwin, a developing writer born in Preston and currently working in London.

Andy’s interests and posts are primarily informed by British politics, in particular the ways in which political parties organize and interact in the British party system. Although focusing often on the Labour Party, Andy’s main area of academic interest is the study radical right-wing parties and movements in Western and Central Europe.

Andy holds a First Class Honours degree and a Masters with Distinction in Political Parties and Elections from Keele University. He has contributed to online publications such as Backbench and The London Economic, he is also a Fellow of the student publication Concourse. Andy also worked as Webmaster for the European Consortium for Political Research’s Standing Group on Political Parties between 2011-2013.
